7 Means to Draw Fern Leaves

I mentioned on a contempo Instagram post that my favorite types of plants are ferns, and it gave me the idea for this blog post! So, I thought that I would share with yous how to depict 7 unlike types of fern leaves. 1. So for the get-go leaf, draw a line for your stem, then add long ovals horizontally through the eye of your stem (I am showing simplified outlines for the examples, so I used an oval shape hither, just if you're using paint, information technology's pretty much just a horizontal line). 6. The sixth leaf is almost similar a mix of leaf 2 and leaf iv, with it'southward own little flair! What I hateful by this is that, it's diamond shaped like the second leaf, has the scalloped leaves like leafage four, but is different from the others because the lesser leaves first to tilt downwards. Get-go past drawing your stem, then adding your "v" branches. Make certain to start small at the top and go bigger/ longer as you move down the stem. when yous get iii/4th of the mode down the stem, get-go to tilt your branches down instead of upwards (inverted "5" shape). Lastly, add those scalloped leaves to each branch, every bit well as the top.
7. For the last foliage, draw a similar frame to leaf four.
