I just idea I would add this as I could non find much information when I looked for it. The download fourth dimension was really incredible for me, every bit it is for many users. I allow it cease and started trying to play when it sent me to another loading screen that was stuck. It was stuck considering I had already installed it.
For others with the same trouble hither is how I solved it. Remove the disc. Load some other game from your pivot list or a disc. Fully start the game. Press the big X on the xbox one controller to go to dwelling. Press the start button and printing exit game. Then, put the Ryse disc back in. After I did this it worked. Hope this helps someone.
Note: Simply restarting the xbox one did non set up this, but y'all can try if yous want. It just sent me right back to the loading screen.
Proficient luck! :)
Where does the proper name come up from? Whatever idea what "Ryse" means or is? 71.171.89.90 (talk) twenty:15, 22 December 2013 (UTC)

Since the game both has at least the appearance of beingness well-researched and gets almost every fact it presents well-nigh history horribly wrong, I feel a historical inaccuracies section might be in order. - If someone (especially non-native speakers) tin can use English proficiently plenty to express themselves with perfect grammar, spelling and clarity, they should besides be able to understand slightly broken English language from other users. That does not modify past harassing the other users. Lordtobi (✉) 15:04, 12 May 2019 (UTC)

Review [edit]
@AdrianGamer:Here are the points that stood out to me.
- A general thing I should advise is to archive the references. If this is too big a task to handle all at one time, you can do it in stages, simply equally long equally it happens, it volition be fine. In addition to this, Ref 6 should apply the original url or accept its "piece of work" link updated, Ref 22 is technically dead and lacks a site link, and Ref 23 is lacking an accessdate.
- Still on the subject of references, the reference used in the plot section is inaccessible to people not signed into YouTube due to the mature content. I would remove this. You can add quotes from the game if you desire, just it is quite possible to have the game every bit its own reference.
- A full general point is the fact that, despite its obvious status equally an alternate version of Rome to people who know Roman history, this is only mentioned in the evolution department. I think information technology should be mentioned in the league and plot section if possible.
- "During the game's development, the team worried that the game may exist too tiring for players to play, and that Kinect may not able to find players' movements accurately, leading to frustration." - Too many "play" words for comfort.
- "A concept chosen "mashing to mastery" was introduced in Ryse, in which the game's gainsay was designed to be attainable for both new players and players who are new to the genre, and be challenge when players wanted to master the game." - This sentance scans rather poorly. I think it needs a rewrite.
- "These execution sequences feature quick-time events, as the team at Crytek hoped that it would make these scene more than rewarding to players, as well equally allowing the flow of combat to continue." - It'due south been several sentences since the Executions were last mentioned. The "These" at the beginning of the judgement indicate a more contempo mention. This needs fixing in some style. I'll leave exactly how upward to you.
- "The game'southward director of cinematic..." - I think "managing director of cinematics" or "cinematic manager" would work meliorate.
- I suggest that the reception infobox Metacritic scores should be in guild of version released rather than higher score.
- "The game's multiplayer portion's reception is besides not well received." - The grammer here is highly questionable. Please nourish to this.
- "Ryse: Son of Rome was specifically listed in the FTC document every bit being one of the titles to receive imitation reviews, and toll quotes for these reviews range between $15,000 and $thirty,000." - "Ryse: Son of Rome" should exist italized.
- "Ryse 2 was cancelled because of a conflict between Crytek and Microsoft over who would own the rights to the franchise. In exchange for funding Ryse 2 'south development, Microsoft wanted to accept over the Ryse intellectual belongings. Crytek would non concord to these terms, so the project was cancelled.[64] Cevat Yerli, still, denied this in an interview with Eurogamer, adding that the human relationship between Microsoft and Crytek remained strong and positive.[24]" - Nothing intrinsically wrong with this piece, just the fashion it's phrased doesn't specify what Yerli denied in a clear fashion. Since it seems to be referring to the reported conflict between CryTek and Microsoft (but I could be misinterpreting), I recollect y'all should analyze that in the third judgement.
That's what jumped out at me. I'll accept a second look over in one case the points above are addressed. --ProtoDrake (talk) 18:42, 12 September 2015 (UTC)
- @ProtoDrake: Thank you very much for the in-depth review! I remember I have addressed all the issues y'all have raised. AdrianGamer (talk) 07:46, xiii September 2015 (UTC)

- @ProtoDrake: If yous use "these", the verb must be in the plural: you lot wrote "the utilise of 'these' betoken..." and information technology should have been "the use of 'these' indicate southward ...", with a terminal "s", since "the use of 'these'" can be substituted for the pronoun "it" and nosotros (or at least those of us who, like me, have a great knowledge of English language grammar) know that if the pronoun is "he", "she" or "it" the verb which comes later it takes a terminal "due south" (or "es" in cases like "does", "goes", "watches" and so on.) --Fandelasketchup (talk) xiv:56, 12 May 2019 (UTC)
- @Fandelasketchup: Apologies for the errors in my grammar checking. --ProtoDrake (talk) 16:29, 12 May 2019 (UTC)

Why prove PC games equally "Microsoft Windows" instead of just "PC"? That would contract a sure game's artwork which would most likely say " PC DVD-ROM" rather than " Microsoft Windows DVD-ROM" --Fandelasketchup (talk) 14:41, 12 May 2019 (UTC)
- Fandelasketchup, because the game could have likewise been made bachelor for macOS or Linux, both of which are, similar Windows, operating systems for personal computers. Such games, when distributed for retail, are also labelled as PC DVD-ROM, not Linux DVD-ROM or Mac DVD-ROM. Community consensus is to use the names of the OS when the game is available for PC to avoid confusion for Mac/Linux users. Regards, Lordtobi (✉) fourteen:47, 12 May 2019 (UTC)
- Lordtobi, information technology's a shame the game wasn't made for Mac, because, beingness the iMac I am writing this on has a 21.v" 4K Retina brandish, I would accept liked to accept advantage of it. Hopefully Xbox Game Studios will read this and release a Mac-compatible version, given my iMac also meets the reccommended PC requirements available on the game'due south website, safe for the OS that'southward different. Just in terms of RAM, processor and the like it does meet them. --Fandelasketchup (talk) 09:51, 14 May 2019 (UTC)
